Healing chalk / woad - NATURALNESS IN ITS PUREST FORM

The woad, also called dyer's woad, has been used as a dye plant in Germany since the 9th century. However, woad has not been cultivated since the synthetic production of dyes. This is how knowledge about this ancient medicinal plant was lost. Gargles for the treatment of sore throats, coughs and fungal infections in the mouth and throat region were made from it, for example. In traditional Chinese medicine, it was used both as a means to strengthen the immune system and as an astringent to stop bleeding from small wounds. The healing chalk is a pure and allergen-free natural product with a fine grain. It gently cleanses, nourishes and has anti-inflammatory properties; it can stimulate the metabolism and cell division and thus promotes wound healing.
