Collection of general information when you visit our website

When you access our website, information of a general nature is collected automatically by means of a cookie. This information (server log files) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. It is exclusively information that does not allow conclusions about you as a person.

This information is technically necessary to deliver the requested website content correctly and is required for use of the internet. It is processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • Ensuring a trouble-free connection to the website,
  • Ensuring smooth use of our website,
  • Evaluating system security and stability, and for other administrative purposes.

Processing of your personal data is based on our legitimate interest arising from the purposes of collection stated above. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about you as a person. Recipients of the data are only the controller and, where applicable, processors.

Anonymous information of this kind may be evaluated statistically by us in order to optimise our website and the technology behind it.

Cookies

Like many other websites we also use so-called "cookies". Cookies are small text files that a web server transfers to your hard disk. This automatically provides us with certain data such as IP address, browser used, operating system and your connection to the internet.

Cookies cannot be used to start programmes or transfer viruses to a computer. We can use the information contained in cookies to make navigation easier for you and to display our pages correctly.

Under no circumstances will the data we collect be passed on to third parties or linked to personal data without your consent.

You can of course also view our website without cookies. Internet browsers are usually set to accept cookies. As a rule you can disable cookies at any time in your browser settings. Please use your browser’s help function to find out how to change these settings. Please note that individual functions of our website may not work if you have disabled cookies.

Use of Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics, a web analysis service of Google Inc. (hereinafter: Google). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files stored on your computer that enable an analysis of your use of the website. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Because IP anonymisation is activated on these websites, however, your IP address is truncated by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases is the full IP address transferred to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. On behalf of the operator of this website, Google will use this information to evaluate your use of the website, to compile reports on website activity and to provide further services to the website operator related to website and internet use. The IP address transmitted by your browser in the context of Google Analytics is not merged with other Google data.

The purpose of processing is to evaluate use of the website and to compile reports on activities on the website. Further related services are then to be provided on the basis of website and internet use. Processing is based on the legitimate interest of the website operator.

You can prevent cookies from being stored by adjusting your browser software accordingly; however, we point out that in that case you may not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent. You can also prevent the collection of the data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the website (including your IP address) by Google, and the processing of this data by Google, by downloading and installing the browser plugin available at the following link: Browser add-on to disable Google Analytics. In addition or as an alternative to the browser add-on you can prevent Google Analytics from tracking on our pages by clicking this link. This installs an opt-out cookie on your device. Tracking of this website and this browser by Google Analytics is then prevented in future for as long as the cookie remains installed in your browser.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses the Google Maps API to display geographic information visually. When you use Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data on visitors’ use of the map functions. Further information on processing by Google is available in the Google privacy policy. There you can also change your personal privacy settings in the privacy centre. Detailed instructions on managing your own data in connection with Google products can be found here.

Credit check

Where there is a credit risk (name, address, email address, company details and, where applicable, contract and receivables data), we transmit your data to IHD Gesellschaft für Kredit und Forderungsmanagement mbH, Augustinusstr. 11 B, 50226 Frechen, Germany, and where applicable to other cooperating credit agencies, for the purpose of a credit check, to check that the stated address can be delivered to, and for collection processing. The legal basis for this transfer is Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR and Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR. Transfers based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR may only take place insofar as this is necessary to protect the legitimate interests of our company and does not override the interests or fundamental rights and freedoms of the data subject which require protection of personal data.

Use of font libraries (Google Fonts)

To display our content correctly and in a graphically appealing way across browsers, we use script and font libraries such as Google Fonts on this website. Google Fonts are cached in your browser to avoid multiple downloads.

If your browser does not support Google Fonts or blocks access, the content is displayed in a standard font. Calling script or font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the library operator. It is theoretically possible — even if it is currently unclear whether and for what purposes — that operators of such libraries collect data.

The privacy policy of the library operator Google can be found here.

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is fourteen days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, took possession of the goods. To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (MG Naturkosmetik GmbH, Klosterhof 4, 82405 Wessobrunn, fax +49 (0) 8809 828 99 88, email: info@mg-naturkosmetik.de) by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post, a fax or an email) of your decision to withdraw from this contract. You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but it is not obligatory. To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient that you send the notice of exercise of the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period has expired.

Changes to our privacy policy

We reserve the right to adapt this privacy policy so that it always meets current legal requirements, or to implement changes to our services in the privacy policy, e.g. when introducing new services. The new privacy policy then applies to your next visit.
